Barakuda Dive Leader According to DIN EN 14153-3/ISO 24801-3, the BARAKUDA Dive Leader is a dive group leader who can supervise inexperienced divers under defined conditions after they have completed their training. Furthermore, the Dive Leader can also lead experienced dive groups under challenging conditions. This means the Dive Leader certification is the first diving certification in the professional field and, accordingly, assumes supervision and responsibility for other divers. The following specialty courses are prerequisites for this course: Diving Accident and Rescue, Navigation and Orientation, and Group Leadership. The practical training combines the content from all seven previously required specialty courses, with a particular focus on the responsibility of being a dive leader. Prerequisites ! Minimum age 18 years ! Valid medical certificate of fitness to dive ! BARAKUDA Experienced Diver or equivalent qualification ! BARAKUDA Specialty Course Diving Accident and Rescue or equivalent qualification ! BARAKUDA Specialty Course Navigation and Orientation or equivalent qualification ! BARAKUDA SK Group Leader certification or equivalent qualification Valid CPR/AED course Minimum 75 logged dives The Dive Leader certification can only be obtained through active participation at our dive center! The time commitment is approximately 3 to 4 weeks. However, there are no costs involved for you.
